Vent: spent 9 hours chasing a no-start on a 6.7 that turned out to be a 30 cent o-ring
Truck came in Monday with a crank no start, so I threw it on the scanner and got a low rail pressure code, figured injectors or the pump and started pulling stuff apart. After 9 hours of testing, new filters, and a fuel pressure gauge taped to the windshield, it was just a chewed up o-ring on the water separator letting air in the whole time. How do you guys keep from skipping the cheap stuff first when your gut screams expensive?
