The snake I fought for a decade is now the only tool I use

I spent 10 years in Richmond telling apprentices to throw out their borescopes and learn to feel for issues by hand, but after chasing a phantom coolant leak for 3 days last spring, I finally caved and bought a $120 one. The camera found a cracked EGR cooler tube in 20 minutes that my fingers never would have caught, so how many of you have had the same stubborn flip on a tool you swore off?
