Watch a hairline crack in a block spread just enough to let coolant into the oil. Seen it turn a 5.3 into a paperweight in under a thousand miles. That milkshake it makes locks things up real good, @the_fiona. It starts as a tiny leak but ends with a crank that won't turn and bearings full of metal shavings.
