Got rid of 11 pounds of EDC weight in 6 months and my shoulder quit hurting
Last October I weighed my daily bag on the kitchen scale out of boredom and it came in at 22 pounds, which sounds insane for a guy who works a desk job. Turns out it was three chargers, a backup battery I never touched, a full multitool I only used for the bottle opener, and a steel water bottle I was carrying on top of the coffee I buy every morning anyway. I dumped the duplicates and swapped to one small pouch for cables, and by March the bag was down to 11 pounds, half of what it was. My right shoulder stopped aching on the train ride home within a couple weeks. So what's actually in your bag right now, and when's the last time you weighed it?
