That fake text from my 'bank' made me call my 70 year old uncle

Was telling my uncle about a scam text I got claiming my debit card was locked, and he goes 'oh yeah, I get those, I just reply STOP and they leave me alone.' Spent 20 minutes explaining that's not how it works and now he's got me triple checking his spam folder every Sunday. Has anyone else had to walk a family member through basic scam awareness lately?
