Showerthought: my neighbor's wifi password was still the default one from the router sticker, and I finally saw why that matters
My neighbor asked me to fix his slow wifi last Saturday in Boise, and when I got into his router settings the admin password was still admin/admin and the wifi key was printed right on the sticker on the bottom of the box. He had 14 devices connected and two of them weren't even his, which I only caught because the device names didn't match anything in his house. How many people do you think never change that sticker password, and is there a quick way to check your own setup without logging into every device?
