Warning: the keyboard meetup in Austin had a weird vibe

I went to the Austin Keyboard Club meetup last weekend expecting a chill vibe, but half the tables were just people silently typing on their boards with no real chat about builds. It felt more like a library than a community event. Has anyone else been to a meetup that felt too quiet, or is that just how they are now?
