Pro tip: watch your load line near power poles, my 45-ton almost went sideways in Tulsa
Last Tuesday I was swinging a steel beam over a parking lot when the wind gusted and my tagline caught a guy wire on a utility pole, the load started twisting so bad I had to set it down on a flatbed and re-rig with a shorter drop, has anyone else dealt with sudden line twist from vortex shedding on a windy site?

Keep the tagline shorter next time so you're not fighting the wind as much... that extra length just gives the load more room to twist around. Vortex shedding is real but usually it's the rigging setup that makes it worse than it has to be. Short drop, tight tagline, and you'll have way more control.
