A 20 ton load finally came down level after I started checking the boom angle before every pick
I spent most of last week fighting a swing that kept drifting on a 20 ton pick at a site off Route 9. Turned out I was setting my boom angle by feel instead of reading the indicator, and once I started checking it against the load chart before each lift the drift went away. Three picks in a row came down clean, which felt like a small victory after two days of guessing. Curious if anyone else has a pre-pick habit that saves them like this.
