My broom finished slab in the shop went from chalky to glassy after I switched up one thing
I poured a 10x12 pad in my shop 3 weeks ago and the first pass looked dry and chalky no matter how much I worked it with the magnesium float. Turned out my mix was sitting too long before I screeded it, so I started getting on it about 20 minutes earlier and finishing while it still had that wet sheen. Anyone else find that timing beats technique when a slab just wont take a burn?
