Skeptical about that $15 phone mic clip from a guy in Austin, but it totally saved my recording
Last week at a small club show in Austin, I met a guy who swore by this $15 phone mic clip he got online, and I figured it was just cheap junk that wouldn't make a difference. I tried it at a loud punk gig on Friday, and the vocals came out way clearer than my usual shaky hand-held videos. Has anyone else found a cheap tool that actually works for phone bootlegs, or am I just lucky?

Wait, you got clear vocals at a punk show for fifteen bucks? That seems impossible when the room is basically a wall of noise and drums. I need to know what clip this is because my phone recordings always sound like garbage at loud shows.
