Appreciation post for the weirdest salvage job I ever had in Tampa Bay
Last week, we got called to pull up a 'large metal object' that turned out to be a fully intact, mint-condition 1970s pinball machine from 80 feet down. Anyone ever had a job where the 'debris' was way cooler than the paycheck?

That crate find beats our waterlogged jukebox for sure.

We pulled a sealed wooden crate off a reef near Key Largo last year. It was full of unopened bottles of 1920s rum, not even broken. The client got the crate but we kept two bottles for the hassle. That rum was smoother than any modern stuff I've tried. Makes you wonder what else is just sitting down there waiting.
