Watched a collector turn from a calm dude to a aggressive flipper in 2 years flat

I saw this guy at local cons who used to just trade and talk story, then he got on Instagram and started buying up all the key issues to flip for profit. Has anyone else seen a casual hobbyist totally change after they realized they could make money off it?

Wait, two years? That's crazy. I've known guys for decades at my LCS who still just want to talk about the old stories behind a book. Never seen someone flip that fast.
