Spent 3 months hunting down a copy of Swamp Thing #37 at every shop in Portland
Last month I finally found one at a tiny shop off SE Division for $18, which felt steep but I grabbed it anyway. Got it home and noticed the back cover had a water stain I totally missed in the store lighting. I've been collecting Swamp Thing for about 6 years now and this was the last single issue I needed to finish my Moore run. Do you guys check books under a flashlight before buying, or is that just me being paranoid? And is $18 even a fair price for a reader copy with damage like that?
