Pro tip: I spent $80 on a beginner coding bootcamp video and it was a total waste
I bought a six hour video course last year that promised to teach Python from scratch. The first hour was just the guy setting up his screen and talking about his background. The actual lessons were rushed and used terms he never explained. After three hours, I was more confused than when I started and just gave up. Has anyone found a good beginner course that actually starts from zero?

Yeah, the "project files didn't match" thing is a huge red flag. It makes me wonder if some courses are just repackaged old content they don't even check anymore.

Ugh, I had the same thing happen with a JavaScript course. The instructor spent forty minutes just talking about different code editors before writing a single line. The project files they gave us didn't even match what was on screen. Total waste of money.
