Why does nobody talk about the bus route as climate action?
I was chatting with my neighbor Dave last week while we were both dragging our recycling bins out, and he mentioned he sold his second car in March and now just takes the 14 bus to work. He said the $340 a month he saves on gas and insurance was nice but the real reason he kept it up was that he stopped feeling guilty on his commute. Now I keep looking at my own driveway and wondering how many of us could actually do this if our routes lined up, has anyone here tried going down to one car and does it work at all in a city like this?
