Just got a stubborn basement flue unclogged after 3 hours of fussing with the wrong brush
The problem was a nest packed tight about 12 feet down, and my usual 6 inch poly brush just bounced off it while a smaller round wire brush did the trick in 10 minutes. I should have dropped a weighted line down first instead of guessing at the size. Any of you keep a separate small brush just for packed nests like that?
