Borrowed my kid's mirror for a chimney check, and it worked
Noticed a potential problem in a tight spot. The whole job went a lot smoother after that.

Yeah, that mirror trick is solid! Sometimes the best tools are the ones you already have. Had a spot in my own place where I couldn't see anything. Ended up using my phone's camera on video mode, just held it in the gap and watched the screen. Saved me a huge headache trying to squeeze my head in there. Works great for quick checks when you just need a peek.

Try photo mode instead, video lags too much for quick checks.
