Why does nobody talk about Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk turning gelatinous after 45 minutes?

I left my bowl sitting while I dealt with a work call, and that leftover milk got this weird thick film and stringy texture that ruined the whole sip, took me a full hour to scrub the bowl because I did not realize it needed immediate attention, has anyone else hit this or did I just get a bad box?
