Tried stapling tack strip with a palm nailer and it actually worked

Was doing a 12x15 bedroom in Tulsa and my hammer arm was killing me, so I grabbed my palm nailer with a tack strip adapter I rigged up. It sank every staple flush in about half the time, though I did blow through one strip where I got too close to the edge. Anyone else tried power tools for tack strip or am I just late to the party?
