Trim quality is dropping on the jobs I see
I've worked on three jobs this month where the trim was put up bad. On one, the baseboards had big gaps because they didn't make sure the wall was flat. Another time, crown molding was cut with a hand saw and looked rough. I think bosses want speed to hit deadlines. This makes the whole build look cheap. How do you deal when the boss wants things fast? I like to do right, but it's hard when others rush.

Remember when that painter rushed to meet sandralee's deadline talk and we had to redo his drips two months later.

My last rushed delivery got me a speeding ticket, so I feel that.

Consider how deadlines drive the whole construction process. Clients hire us to finish on schedule, not just for flawless trim. Bosses push for speed to meet these promises and keep the company going. Sometimes, good enough is what keeps the lights on and the crew paid. Perfect work is nice, but it doesn't pay the bills if the job runs over.
