Ran 8 psi in my tires all season and one look at my sidewalls in Prince George finally clued me in
Been running my quad at 8 psi since I got it, figured softer was better for the mud and roots up here. Last weekend a guy at the trailhead near Prince George glanced at my tires and asked if I was trying to pinch a bead on purpose, then pointed at the scrubbing marks halfway up the sidewall and the cracks starting at the rim. 12 psi in the back and 10 up front and the thing quit wandering on gravel and stopped feeling like it wanted to tip in ruts. Anyone else run lower than the sticker on purpose, or did I just cook a set of tires for nothing?
