Guy at the REI garage sale in Portland showed me his 8 year old sleep pad and I dont know what to believe anymore
I was standing in line at the Portland REI garage sale last month and the guy next to me pulled out a Therm-a-Rest pad he bought in 2016, still no leaks. He said he has never once stored it rolled up, just laid it flat under his bed. Now I am wondering if all those review videos about "proper storage" are overthinking it, or if this guy just got lucky?
