Just realized the trick to a tall tray tower is flipping every other tray, not stacking them all the same way
I built tray towers at lunch for two years before I figured this out. Last Tuesday I was messing around in the cafeteria at my school in Boise and flipped every other tray upside down, and the thing hit the ceiling with only 14 trays instead of the 30 it used to take. The flat side down makes the edges lock together way better, so the whole stack stops wobbling after like 6 trays. My friend Marcus tried the same stack with all trays facing up and it fell over at tray 9. Has anyone else tried mixing in a couple trays on their side to make it even taller?
