The cheap zip ties I bought at Harbor Freight snapped on my whole 8 cable run
So last month I finally tidied up the back of my desk with a big zip tie run, 8 cables all bundled tight under the table. Came home from work Wednesday and heard a pop, walked over and half the bundle was hanging loose because two ties just gave out. Turns out the dollar pack I grabbed has terrible tensile strength and the heat from my monitor made them brittle. I yanked it all and switched to velcro straps, way easier to adjust too. Has anyone else had cheap ties fail on them, or am I just unlucky with the heat?
