Spent $130 on a cheap coax stripper that chewed up 6 fittings before I tossed it
I picked up a no-name stripper off a supply house clearance rack back in March because my old one walked off a job in Reno. The blade depth was off from the factory, so it kept nicking the center conductor on RG6, and I did not catch it until a whole wall plate run tested bad. That cost me a re-pull on a two story house plus about 3 hours of my Saturday, so call it $130 in parts and lost time. Stick with the brands the supply house actually stocks for daily use, the clearance bin is clearance for a reason. Anyone got a stripper model that holds its blade depth after a few hundred terminations?
