My fridge died after a night shift and now I'm living on pantry meals

After a long night at work, I came home to find my refrigerator totally broken. All my fresh stuff was about to go bad, so I had to cook everything quickly. I made a huge batch of pasta with canned tomatoes and the last of my frozen veggies. It fed me for days, but I'm getting tired of the same thing. What are your go-to meals when you're stuck with just shelf-stable items? I'm trying to save cash while I wait for my fridge to get fixed. How do you keep it interesting without spending a lot?

My old rice cooker saved me, just making plain rice and beans but changing up the spices each time. A bottle of hot sauce helped a ton too.

Canned tuna or chickpeas make great salad bases with oil and vinegar! Mix in some dried herbs and eat it with crackers. Bean soups are also filling, just simmer them with broth cubes and whatever spices you have.

Broth cubes help, but water works for bean soup.
