Update: the guy at the Canyon Park QFC told me my reusable bags are a scam, and now I'm second guessing
He said most of them are made of the same plastic as the throwaway ones and half end up in a landfill anyway, which honestly I had never looked into. Then he showed me his canvas one from 2018 that he's washed maybe 30 times and it still holds a full grocery run. Anybody in Bothell actually looked into where these bags come from, or am I just overthinking a checkout line chat?
