Unpopular opinion: My stubborn cactus took three summers to flower and it was worth the wait

Honestly, I got it as a tiny thing and just kept it on my window sill. For so long, it did nothing but grow a bit taller each season. I almost moved it outside thinking it was a dud. But this week, I woke up to a single bright pink bloom. Ngl, after all that time, it feels like a real win.

That's the best feeling when a plant finally decides to cooperate. The ones that make you wait are always the most rewarding. It makes that single bloom feel like a trophy. Some things just operate on their own slow, stubborn timeline. Really happy you got to see it happen.

Read somewhere that plants really do teach you how to wait.

Can't believe a single bloom feels like a trophy...
