A master gardener told me my compost was too wet, I fixed it in 3 days
She said my pile smelled like a swamp and to stop adding kitchen scraps until I mixed in dry leaves. I added two bags of shredded paper and turned it daily, now it's steaming and actually breaking down. Anyone else get called out for something basic like this at a plant swap?

Ngl, that's just the compost gods smacking you back to reality. 💀 At least your pile smelled like a swamp and not a crime scene, so you're ahead of the curve.
