Glue pot disaster at the Maine craft fair taught me to stop trusting the timer
I was mid-fanfare at my Booth 14 table in Portland when a whole batch of book cloth peeled off the boards because the PVA had set too fast in the 90 degree heat, so now I always test a scrap corner before committing to the full case and has anyone else had their spine joints crack when they rush the drying step?
