My buddy's 'always play the traitor' advice backfired hard at game night
Last month, my friend Dave kept telling me to always play the traitor role in social deduction games, said it wins every time. I tried it in a 6-player session of Shadows over Camelot and got voted out in like 10 minutes because I was too obvious about it. Has anyone else found that acting suspicious on purpose just makes everyone target you faster?

Blindly following any single strategy is a trap, even outside games. People think there's some magic formula for winning, but the real trick is reading the room. In Camelot, you gotta be sneaky about it, not just flip the table. Same thing at work or with friends, pushing one angle too hard just makes everyone suspicious of you. Dave gave you bad advice, plain and simple.
