Remember that week in '08 when we fixed 40 bikes for a school program?

It was a Tuesday in late April, and the local middle school dropped off their whole fleet for a tune-up. We had 40 bikes lined up in the shop, all needing new cables, brake pads, and tires. What made it good was how the whole crew just fell into a rhythm, like an assembly line. We got it all done in three days, which felt impossible at first. I still think about how simple the work felt back then, before everything got so electronic. Anyone else have a big group job that just clicked like that?

That flow is so rare because it needs a shared, simple goal.

Those group projects where everyone just syncs up are the best. Hard to find that flow now.
