Took me 3 months to find a complete set of Harry Potter hardcovers at thrift stores
I decided to collect all 7 Harry Potter books in hardcover from thrift stores only, no online orders. After hitting 12 different Goodwills and library sales over 3 months, I finally snagged the last one (Order of the Phoenix) for $2 at a church rummage sale. Anybody else set weird rules for themselves when book hunting and regret it halfway through?

Heard someone say thrift store hunting is basically pokemon for adults.

Stopped reading at basically. You're telling me you never spent hours staring at the Pokemon on the shelf deciding which one to evolve first? Thrift stores are way worse than that. The thrill of finding a vintage band tee for five bucks is way more intense than catching a Pikachu ever was. Plus you can actually wear the stuff you find and nobody calls you a weirdo for it.

Pulled a pristine 90s denim jacket for eight bucks last week, felt like winning the lottery.
