Thought the hot towel thing was just for show until a guy with a beard like steel wool sat in my chair
I always figured hot towels were mostly for the fancy shops, a little theater to make guys feel pampered. Then about 6 months ago a regular named Marcus came in with a beard you could scrub a grill with, and I tried the towel warmer I'd bought off a guy in Modesto for $25. Two minutes of steam and that hair cut like butter, no pulling, no four passes with the clippers. Now I use it on every shave, but I'm wondering if anyone has a trick for keeping the towels from going cold while the guy's still in the chair.
