A rep at the supply house swore cordless clippers beat corded, and I think that's backwards
Guy at the supply counter in Dayton kept pushing me toward a cordless setup. Said nobody uses cords anymore. Said I was behind the times. I nodded and bought two more corded Andis Masters instead. Here's the thing. I've run both. The cordless ones lose torque in thick hair around the 20 minute mark. I can feel it bog down on a #1 guard through a full head. My corded clipper has pulled the same speed for 9 years and never once died mid-fade. The only real win for cordless is not tripping on the cable. That's it. I asked him what happens when the battery quits in the middle of a walk in on a Saturday and he didn't have much to say. Am I wrong here? Has anyone actually switched and been happy long term?
