Rant: I stopped using my bank's app for transfers and went back to calling the branch
Everyone keeps telling me mobile banking apps are the best thing ever, but I switched back to phone banking about 4 months ago after my app double sent a $250 rent payment to my landlord. I called the branch in Naperville and a real person caught the duplicate in about 90 seconds, then reversed it while I waited on the line. Now I just call every time I move money over $100, and honestly it is faster than fighting with that little spinning circle. Has anyone else gone back to old school banking, or am I the only one who does not trust the apps?
