I bought lunch at a diner in Toledo on a Tuesday and the charge sat as pending for 9 days while my rent check bounced, so I called support 6 times over two weeks trying to get it cleared. Every rep gave me a different answer, one said pending holds clear in 3 days, another blamed the diner, and the last one admitted they could see the hold but couldn't release it. Has anyone actually gotten a pending charge cleared before it drops off on its own, or is calling just a way to burn an afternoon?
