Shoutout to my neighbor for the seed swap, but is growing food actually healthier?
I began my container garden in spring to improve my diet. Honestly, nothing beats picking fresh lettuce right before dinner. But my buddy argues that store-bought organic is just as good and less work. I'm torn because I love the process, but is it really worth it? Curious to hear your views.

Try growing your own... nothing beats just-picked for nutrients.

Ever notice how we're sold this perfect idea of self-sufficiency, but nature always has its own messy plan? We're told to grow our own food for the best health, then spend half our time fighting off the local wildlife that wants it more. It feels like a small lesson in how little control we actually have, even over our own backyards.

My lettuce patch was a slug buffet last season. Who's really getting the nutrients here?
