Hit 50 eggs in one day from my 12 hens last week - is that normal or am I seeing things?

I keep track of my egg counts and last Tuesday I collected 50 eggs from just 12 hens. That's over 4 eggs per bird which seems crazy unless some of them are laying twice a day. My neighbor says it's just a fluke with the warm weather we've had in Oregon this fall but I wonder if I'm overfeeding or if there's something else going on. Anyone else hit a weird number like this that made them question their flock?

That warm weather fluke theory sounds right since heat can mess with their laying cycles way more than most people realize.
