PSA: I used to think a single feeder was enough, but after a quiet winter in Madison, I switched to three different types.

Honestly, adding a suet cage and a platform feeder next to my tube feeder brought in woodpeckers and juncos I never saw before. Has anyone else had a specific bird show up only after you added a certain feeder?

You mentioning the platform feeder for juncos makes sense. I had the same stubborn thought that one feeder was fine, but my yard was basically a sparrow diner. Who knew I was running such a boring restaurant?
