Compared two CRM platforms for my consulting clients and one was clearly a mess
I run a small B2B consulting firm and last quarter I decided to test out two different CRM services for my clients. One was HubSpot's free tier and the other was Zoho's basic plan. I spent about 3 months with each, rotating 5 clients through each system. With Zoho, I kept running into export limits and the mobile app crashed on me 4 times in a single week. HubSpot wasn't perfect either, but the free tier gave me better contact tracking and the email integration just worked without extra setup. The difference really showed when I needed to pull a report for a client last Tuesday and Zoho's data wouldn't sync right. Has anyone else had a similar experience where a free tool outperformed a paid one in B2B services?

Man, that's wild. Reminds me of when I tried to use a paid project management tool and the free version of Trello ran circles around it for basic stuff.

Isn't it funny how sometimes the simplest tools get the job done better than all the fancy bells and whistles?
