Hot take: a chafed wire bundle in a CRJ nose bay ate 9 hours of my week
Kept chasing intermittent EGPWS faults and swapped the receiver twice before I found the real problem: a bundle rubbing against a clamp that looked fine from above. Has anyone else had a chafe hide behind a tie wrap like that, and what finally gave it away?

Pulled my hair out on a similar one, turned out the tie wrap was hiding a spot where the insulation was worn clean through. What finally got me was running my hand along the whole bundle instead of just eyeballing it, felt the rough spot right away. Wiggle test with the system powered up usually sniffs those out too.
