Paid $1,800 for the extended warranty on my 2016 Silverado and it paid out $2,300 in one visit
My transmission went out last month at 94,000 miles and I figured I was about to eat the full repair bill. The shop quoted me $4,100 for a rebuild, but the warranty covered $2,300 of it after my $100 deductible. I was skeptical when I signed up at the dealership in Mesa two years ago, but that one repair basically made back everything I paid in. Anyone else actually come out ahead on one of these, or am I just lucky?
