Doubted the torque angle method for years, now I swear by it

I mean, I thought torque angle was just some dealership overcomplication until a head bolt on a 5.4 Triton backed out twice using the old feel method. After one stretch bolt job done with the angle gauge, I never went back. Anyone else have a tool or method they resisted until it saved them?
