Tried that new water-based primer on a classic car, wow
Had a 1972 Chevelle in the shop last month and figured I'd test the water-based primer everyone's been talking about since it's supposed to be safer. Layered it on 3 coats and the coverage was way more uneven than my old solvent stuff, took twice the sanding to get flat. Has anyone else had issues with it on older metal that's got some pitting?
