Serious question, did anyone else know a single coat of epoxy primer can be sprayed as thin as 1 mil?
I was reading through a 3M tech sheet at the counter while waiting on a parts delivery and saw that a single wet coat only needs to be 1 to 2 mils thick to do its job. I had been laying it on heavier for years thinking more was safer, and my sanding time has already dropped by about 20 minutes per panel since I backed off. Has anyone else changed their primer gun settings after finding a number like that in the specs?
