Just realized rushing paint drying means more sanding later.

Yeah, learned that the hard way helping a friend redo a dresser. We put on a second coat of polyurethane before the first was fully set, and the whole thing got this weird fuzzy texture. Had to strip it back to bare wood and start over, which added like two full weekends to the project. Never making that time crunch mistake again.

Seems like overkill to strip the whole thing though.

Man that fuzzy texture is the worst, isn't it? @rileym93's story makes me wonder if sanding between coats with a really fine grit could have saved it, or if the gunk was just too deep. What grit do you usually use for that light sanding step?
