Heard a customer say "it's just a scratch" and my eye twitched

Guy pointed at a rear quarter that had folded like a soda can and asked if I could buff it out, took me 20 minutes to explain that the inner wheel house was pushed in 3 inches, has anyone else had to talk someone down from a $200 dent repair fantasy?
