I finally got my succulents to thrive after months of trial and error!

My succulents were always looking sad no matter what I tried. Turns out, I was overwatering them, and moving them to a sunnier spot got them to perk up! What plant care hacks have worked for you?

My friend Sarah killed a really nice snake plant last month. She was watering it every three days because the top soil looked dry. I tried to tell her it was a desert plant, but she wouldn't listen. It's like what jessicab33 said, some people just can't stop pouring. The roots turned to complete mush. Now she's scared to get another one.

Wait, you're telling me there's a struggle NOT to overwater? I just dump my water bottle in the pot whenever I walk by. My plants are basically swimming.
